Biography:
Doctor Eggman, also known as Dr. Robotnik, is the primary antagonist in Sega's *Sonic the Hedgehog* franchise. He is a portly, mustachioed mad scientist with an IQ of 300, obsessed with world domination.
His goal is to create "Eggmanland" (also known as Robotnikland in earlier appearances), a dystopian society under his iron rule. To achieve this, he frequently attempts to capture animals and convert them into robotic soldiers, known as "Badniks".
Dr. Eggman's first appearance was in the original *Sonic the Hedgehog* game, released in 1991 for the Sega Genesis. Throughout the *Sonic the Hedgehog* series, he consistently clashes with Sonic and his friends, using his technological genius to create elaborate machines and schemes to thwart their efforts.
